LEGAL CONTEXT
In Belgium two different CLA's have been concluded regarding outplacement :
- CLA 51 applies to each employer wishing to offer an outplacement programme to its employee spontaneously.
- CLA 82 rules when an employer is obliged to offer outplacement to its employee aged 45 and older. This CLA has been revised by CLA 82 bis and is valid as from December 1, 2007.
