The Management Team
Pascale Bastin is a Director with Galilei. She started her career as a Consultant in a Recruitment/Executive Search Company and subsequently joined the Olivetti Group, where for a period of 10 years, she held various HR positions with responsibilities in the area of recruitment, training, management and organizational development (including HR tools and systems). Later she became responsible at European level for the development and implementation of a Corporate Education and Training Strategy for the Group. In 1993 she joined Claessens Outplacement as Senior Consultant. In this capacity she coached a large number of employees and managers in career transition processes helping them to chart out their own career path. She pursued the same mission within Right Management Consultant after the company’s acquisition of Claessens. Pascale Bastin has a strong interest in Career Management and Development issues and aims to assist both individuals and corporations in optimizing the use of their resources. She is fluent in French, Dutch and English.
Frans van de Ven is a Director with Galilei. Frans has 20 years of experience in large international organisations and started his career in Information Management at IBM and Siemens. After 5-year stint as consultant with Coopers & Lybrand he decided to join Johnson & Johnson where he held several HR positions. His last 4 years were spent as Director Talent Management for the global Chemical and Pharmaceutical Production divisions. Frans has a master’s degree both in Information Management and Human Resources and also a postgraduate degree in Business Administration. He is certified as career coach, Project Leadership trainer/coach and Global Leadership coach. He mainly focuses on the scaling up of the Galilei activities in career development and leadership development & coaching. Frans is trilingual Dutch, English and French.
Patrick van der Plancke is a Director with Galilei. He has over 35 years of experience in the areas of marketing, strategic planning, human resources management and consulting. He has been working for 25 years with the Royal Dutch/Shell Group, where he has held various positions in strategic planning, marketing, public affairs, and human resources in the Oil, Chemicals and Coal Divisions of the Group in the United States, South Africa, UK, The Netherlands and Belgium. His last position within Shell was that of Human Resources Manager of Shell’s Belgian subsidiary. In 1993 Patrick joined Right Management Consultants as Senior Consultant and has been active for the last 10 years in the areas of career transition and career counselling. Patrick holds a degree in Applied Economics of the Catholic University of Louvain and an MBA of the University of Chicago. He is fluent in French, Dutch and English.
Marc van Harneveldt is a Director with Galilei. He started his career 26 years ago in the insurance business in the IT department where he held various roles. In 1990 he joined the Antverpia Group (part of Delta Lloyd) as ICT Manager and moved to Randstad in 1995 assuming the role of ICT Manager Belgium and Luxemburg. At the same time, he was also responsible for some Randstad Holding ICT projects and was directly involved with the merger of Randstad and Vedior in 2007. This allowed him to gain substantial experience in change management and corporate integration projects. He has a IT and Commerical Sciences degree and also took a Senior Executive Training Course at the IESE Business School in Barcelona. He is trilingual Dutch, French and English.
Karel Van Pelt is a Director with Galilei. He has over 30 years of experience in the areas of international sales, human resources management and consulting. His career covers several sectors, companies and activities. After his studies and a one year stay in the US, he has assumed during fifteen years commercial responsibilities on a worldwide level in the Furniture industry. He then became active in the Transport sector and respectively headed the forwarding activities of the Belgian shipping company CMB and later on became Human Resources Manager for the European agency network of the same group. In 1992, his career took a definite turn towards the Outplacement sector, where with a lot of drive and empathy as a consultant, he has coached people, ran offices and took management responsibilities for more than ten years. Karel Van Pelt holds a Masters Degree in Applied Economics (UFSIA). He is trilingual Dutch, English, French.
François Van Vyve is a Director with Galilei. François Van Vyve has over 20 years experience in coaching individuals through change and more specifically in career transition. As one of the pioneers of the concept in Belgium, he has successfully launched practices in outplacement and played a major role in the industry as co-founder of the national professional association. Responsibilities include furthermore editing work on the code of ethics and being an active board member of the European and the worldwide organizations. From 2003 until 2006 François Van Vyve was Chairman of the ACF Europe. ACF is the trade association founded in 1982 representing career management and outplacement industry. He has built a consulting practice in human resources up to 41 employees and has gained high visibility in the business and social environment. He assisted organizations in larger projects developing internal and external mobility approaches. Previous to the human resources area, he worked with great success for a major international insurance broker first on the technical side and later in marketing/sales. He is board member of different companies and non-profit organizations (United Fund for Belgium). He is also active as chairman of a venture capitalist group addressing entrepreneurial initiatives taken by managers and executives. He holds a bachelor degree in Law (ULB) and a post-graduate in management (Cepac/Ecole de Commerce Solvay). These last 15 years he has followed a number of courses and trainings (some with certification process) in career management, career and leadership development and executive coaching. He is fluent in French, Dutch and English.
The team of consultants
Sandrine Beaufaux is a Consultant with Galilei. After obtaining her masters in commercial and consular sciences she worked for three US companies active in management consulting, relocation and recruitment. She then decided to reorient her career and got to know Galilei and the coaching school of Vincent Lenhardt where she will shortly obtain her certification. She is also an experienced bike tour leader in Europe for US tour operators and discovered Asia by bike together with her partner during most of 2009. Upon her return she focuses mainly on collective outplacement, giving several workshops and performing interview simulations. She is trilingual French, Dutch and English. She is also a certified MBTI practioner.
Prisca Buysmans is a Consultant with Galilei. She has more than 10 years of experience as a Consultant with Randstad. She was responsible for recruitment & selection of several profiles and held commercial contacts with HR managers. At the closure of Renault she contributed to the outplacement coaching of Joroca co-workers. From that this time she took an active interest in this area and in 2007 she moved to Galilei. Prisca Buysmans holds a Master degree in Translation (English & Spanish) and an MBA (VUB). She is fluent in Dutch and English.
Catherine Christou is a Consultant with Galilei. She has over ten year’s professional experience in HR, several of which within the pharmaceutical group Pfizer. In 2004, Catherine led the closing of Pfizer’s production facilities in Jette (Brussels’ region). Since then, she has been working as a free-lance consultant. Her main domains of expertise are career transition in terms of individual and group coaching (outplacement, inplacement) for blue-collar, white-collar and management levels. Furthermore she possesses an in-depth knowledge of recruitment and selection tools as well as competency assessment & development centers. Catherine holds a Master Degree in Occupational and Commercial Psychology, as well as an Aggregation certificate, from the ULB where she still supports her former faculty as a supervisor for student’s professional internships. Catherine Christou is bilingual French and Dutch and fluent in English and Spanish.
Ann Clauws is consultant at Galilei. She has more than 20 years business experience in large international organizations (C&A, ISS and DHL). Starting her career as Training & Development Coordinator, she then built her management experience as Regional Manager, Operations Manager en HR Manager. Ann has a broad experience in restructuring, change processes and leadership development within organizations. At Galilei, she is active in career- and leadership development, coaching and outplacement for managers. As such, she is a certified Personal Coach, obtained an HR Master degree at the Vlerick School where she also attended a Middle Management program. She speaks fluently Dutch, English and French.
Pascale Clauws is a Consultant with Galilei. She started her career in the educational department and turned towards the retail sector after a few years. There she spent 17 years experience as Regional Manager, Merchandise Manager and finally General Manager. She played an important role in the introduction of Competence Management at Madibel, and later in the process of reorganisation and the change management of that same company when taken over by the C&A-group. Other fields of expertise are coaching, training and development, recruitment and selection. At Galilei she is active in outplacement, career counselling and coaching. As a voice coach she helps people to improve the use of their breath and voice. Pascale studied Germanic Philology at the University of Ghent and is fluent in Dutch, French and English. She has been trained as a “Professional Coach” at Coaching & Co, Rudy Vandamme.
Anita Cooman is a Consultant with Galilei and has been involved as HR consultant in major career transition projects in recent years such as Levi’s Wervik, Nestlé Baasrode and Sabena. Next to individual career consulting and coaching of managers and professionals at a turning point in their career, she also gives advice and operational assistance to human resources managers of organisations implementing change projects. Her first contact with a human resources environment was 10 years ago when she was successful in the start-up and commercial development of a brand new regional agency of one of the top three players in the temping sector. Before that, she built up a lot of experience in different sectors of which more then 10 years in the insurance business. Her aim in professional life is to always deliver high quality guidance to people and organisations in an enthusiastic and practical way and to lead them towards innovative and suitable insights. Anita Cooman is fluent in Dutch, French and English.
Muriel De Bock is a Consultant with Galilei. Graduated as an Industrial and Commercial Psychologist (ULB), she has completed her studies by a Master in Human Resources and Dynamics of Organizations (Solvay Business School – ULB) and a two-years program of Coaching (CFIP). She gained 10 years professional experience, first within companies (pharmaceutical industry) in the field of Human Resources in charge of recruitment, training and various HR projects and then as an independent working for companies (outplacement, inplacement, coaching,…) and also for private persons (career transition, job evolution, stress management, mobbing, life coaching, life project,…). She is a specialist in Change Management and she has also spent part of her life abroad (California- - USA). She speaks perfect French, English and Dutch.
Veerle De Cock is a business development consultant at Galilei. Veerle started her career as a consultant and branch manager at Randstad interim end 1991. After various training courses in HR management she moved to the HR solutions department of Randstad in 2005 where she participated in the commercial expansion of Randstad Social Secretariat and Randstad HR Consulting. Since end 2009 Veerle has been working for Galilei where she provides the wide Galilei services to companies in East and West Flanders. Veerle has a broad knowledge of HR and speaks Dutch with good knowledge of French and English.
Marc De Keyser is a Consultant with Galilei. Marc De Keyser has a bachelor in "Labour Sciences" (UCL) and held several Human Resources positions with Henkel and Jacobs Suchard, more specifically with regards to recruitment, salary policy and assessment. Later, as Human Resources Director at Commercial Union, he brought a sizeable restructuring to a good end. He subsequently joined Right Management Consultants where he has been working as an outplacement consultant before joining Galilei. In short, he has over 10 years experience in career management gained with a very diverse range of clients.
Didier de Laminne de Bex is a Consultant with Galilei. After a short stint in the medical sector where he was involved in the organisation of a surgeon’s congress in Kyoto for La Société Internationale de Chirurgie générale (1976-1977), Didier joined Interlabor (Randstad holding) in January 1978 as management assistant. Until 1986 he held various positions in recruitment, selection, training and information management. Between 1986 and 1990 he is responsible for internal and external communication and became eventually Press & Public Relations Manager for the Randstad group. He organised numerous press conferences and lobbying events for all the influentials in the labour market in Belgium. He joined Galilei in 2006 as outplacement consultant. He is member of the Belgian Centre for Public Relations since 1986. Director (1986 – 1996) and president (1992 – 1996) of BVB (Belgische Vereniging voor de Bedrijfspers). He holds a master in Translation obtained at Institut Cooremans in Brussels and is trilingual French, Dutch and English.
Hilde De Raedt is a Consultant with Galilei. She started her career 15 years ago with Randstad where she successfully started and ran several offices in terms of sales and people management. Since 5 years she is coaching and supporting people during their career transition period. It is her ambition to give people as much insight as possible into their career objective and to assist them with making this come true. Hilde has diplomas in communication management and marketing and gave both commercial and management trainings. She is quadrilingual Dutch, French, English and German.
Anne Debraine is a consultant at Galilei. Since December 2008 she has been active as outplacement consultant both in individual and collective programmes. also deals with the commercial follow-up of various dossiers. Her career at Randstad started in 2000, first as consultant in Halle and afterwards as senior consultant in Ninove. She was previously employed as support for opportunity groups, where the organisation of training courses and assisting candidates in training courses was her main task. This gave her 10 years experience in the assisting, training and coaching outside Randstad. This broad experience in assisting and leading of people has led her to her current job position. As a certified social worker she also completed an additional training course in coaching. She speaks Dutch with good fluency in French.
Yo Deckers is a Consultant with Galilei. Yo has over 18 years of experience in HR, of which she spent 17 years with the Randstad group in a variety of positions. She started off in recruitment and selection and then progressed to commercial work, coaching of new employees, starting up new divisions and acting as HR Coordinator for Carglass. She moved to Outplacement in 1994 where she first built a specific expertise in assessments and outplacement and focused later on exclusively on career services and outplacement. She runs individual and collective outplacement programs for blue collars, white collars and executives for Janssen Pharmaceutica and has thus extensive knowledge of job coaching, career management, reorganisations and career transition centres. She has a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and a postgraduate in Personnel, Relational and Communication sciences from the University of Hasselt. Yo speaks Dutch and has a solid knowledge of English, Spanish and French as she is a passionate world traveler.
Ann Debraine is a Consultant with Galilei. Since December 2008 she is involved in both individual and collective programs in addition to the commercial follow-up of certain projects. Her career at Randstad started in 2000 when she joined the Halle branch as consultant and later on became senior consultant in the Ninove branch. Prior to this she coached job applicants coming from minority groups during more than 10 years. She has a degree of social worker and an additional coaching certificate. She speaks Dutch and has a good knowledge of French.
An Delombaerde is a Consultant with Galilei. She is a HR professional with a sound knowledge of the West and East Flemish labour market and has 7 years of experience in coaching and training. Since 2006 she specialises in outplacement and job coaching for both individual and collective programs in addition to the commercial follow-up of her accounts. She has extensive experience in restructuring plans and career transition centres. She has a bachelor in social work and personnel management and took some further courses in commerce and coaching skills. She speaks Dutch and has a good knowledge of French and English.
Caroline Deruyttere is a Consultant with Galilei since 2003. She started her career in an international executive research firm in Brussels where she learnt all about headhunting. As Operations Manager she managed a team of 10 people and handled all European client contacts. After 9 years she established herself as a free-lance researcher specializing in European research working for several executive search firms in Belgium. In 1998 she joined Cisco Systems in Brussels as Program Manager Central Sourcing with the objective to build an in-house research capacity. After one year she moved on to Recruitment Manager Finance for EMEA running a team of 5 hiring finance, legal, leasing, business development and HR profiles across EMEA. She moved to Sweden in 2001 for 2 years as an expat spouse. Upon her return to Belgium she joined Galilei. She has a master’s degree in Translation Dutch-English-Spanish and took a postgraduate in European Translation at KU Leuven. She is bilingual Dutch and English and has a good knowledge of French and Spanish.
Regine Desmet is consultant at Galilei. After her Bachelor degree for Expedition and Management Assistant she started her career at an international company in Liege as a management assistant. After 4 years she moved to a training centre in Liege where she assisted companies like Ethias, Coca-cola and Electrabel in providing tailored training. She also helped in the start-up of a sister company in Brussels and enjoyed lots of additional training courses. Since 2001 she is part of the Randstad group where besides recruiting employees and workers, she also gave job application training in schools. As a senior consultant she liked to remain commercially active and thus has a broad knowledge of the west Flemish employment market. Passionate about HR, assisting and coaching people, she has been active since 2009 as an outplacement consultant in collective/individual programmes for workers/employees.
Sabine D’hoedt is Consultant with Galilei. Sabine started her career in the world of temporary employment as a Consultant and Office Manager in different branches for the recruitment and outsourcing of administrative and technical personnel. She became Temp Force Training Manager at Randstad Belgium, where she was responsible for the training of temporary employees. In 2002 Sabine joined the outplacement team of Randstad. In her work she combines her thorough knowledge of the labour market and the training world with a warm coaching attitude. Recently she took the lead of some larger outplacement projects. Sabine holds a Masters degree in Psychology and Pedagogical sciences from the KU Leuven and obtained also a master in NLP at the School for NLP in Leuven. She is bilingual Dutch French and speaks good English.
Lieve Feyaerts is a Consultant with Galilei since 2007 and coaches with ease and enthusiasm both individual candidates and groups. She has been working for Randstad since 1989 and started her career as recruiter and subsequently HR administrator within the HR department of Interlabor. Later on she joined the temping division in a commercial role and as from 1999 she helped to create the Randstad Recruitment & Selection division. She became a senior consultant with a large expertise in assessment and development centres and gained considerable experience in internal promotion programs, career development and outplacement of employees and managers within the Randstad Outplacement division. Lieve holds a Masters in Psychology from the KU Leuven and took a postgraduate in Business Studies at the Vlekho. She speaks Dutch and has a very good knowledge of French.
Barbara Hault is a Consultant with Galilei. After obtaining her masters in psychology at the UCL she completed a postgraduate in personnel management at EPHEC. She has acquired a vast experience in Human Resources through various HR and recruitment assignments with a variety of companies active in the IT, Banking, Heavy Industry and Retail sector. Furthermore she runs her own practice as therapist. Barbara joined the HR Consulting division within the Randstad group in 2006 and moved on to Galilei in 2009, where she first learnt the ropes as office assistant before starting individual outplacement coachings. She speaks French, Dutch and English.
Dorine Hautekiet is a Manager with Galilei based in Merelbeke. She has been working for the Randstad group since 1982, where she held various positions as consultant and manager within the temping division. In 1999 she helped starting up the HR Solutions division, specifically the recruitment and selection division and also the outplacement activities. Today she advises HR managers on implementing reorganisations, coaching activities and outplacement projects, and this in East and West Flanders. She holds a masters degree in translation and is fluent in Dutch, French and English.
Lydia Henderickx is a Consultant with Galilei and started her career as a teacher. After 8 years she joined Randstad first as a recruiter and later on as commercial consultant, external trainer with several training institutes and also internal trainer and coach for the Randstad employees. Lydia has a teaching diploma Dutch English and holds a master in NLP. She has extensive experience with restructuring plans and outplacement programs for large groups. She has a sound knowledge of the Limburg labour market. Her mission is to support the candidate in every way through her enthusiasm and personal involvement so that she or he finds a new professional project which utilizes their skills and aptitudes to the fullest.
Inge Ketels is a consultant at Galilei. As bio-engineer with a post graduate degree in anthropology she has professional experience since 1994. She worked as a project manager for several organisations like the Vlaamse Maatschappij voor Watervoorziening, Streekplatform Midden-Limburg and Regionaal Landschap Hoge Kempen. Here she developed her expertise on vision formation and project management. Inge followed additional training courses on communication, personal development and coaching. Since 2001 she teaches training courses on these subjects and coaches people sinfully developing their potential. In 2006 Inge joined Galilei, where she passionately assists people both in group and individually, in their transition process.
Anne Louwagie is consultant at Galilei since 2007. She started her career in the HR department of EDS, where she was responsible, among other things, for the foreign employees. She then moved on to a position as personnel manager at the high school for Science & Arts. Besides the legal work she was also in charge of recruitment, budgeting and well-being at work and she was also the permanent reporter of the board. Since 2006 she has been active as an independent consultant for a selection and HR agency and assists individual and collective outplacement programmes for Galilei. Anne's holds a BA in law (KULeuven) and obtained a special degree in business economics (VUB). She speaks Dutch and fluent French and English.
Ghislaine Lucas is a Consultant with Galilei. She has over 20 years of experience in HR, starting off her career in the insurances sector. Later on, she moved to the pharmaceutical industry working both for GSK Biologicals and UCB. Her core expertise areas are recruitment and selection, training & development plans at both individual and collective level and career management (more specifically, competency models, succession planning and talent development review). She has a degree in classical philology and a second masters in Labour sciences from UCL. In 2008, she joined Galilei to work with outplacement candidates and to assist on Career Services projects. She speaks French and English.
Marie-Noëlle Massant is a Consultant with Galilei based in the Walloon area where she runs both individual and collective coaching programs. She has a master degree in political sciences and in translation and started her career in recruitment working for 2 executive search firms. She then moved on to Right Associates and worked for 4 years as outplacement consultant. In 1996 she started her own business in luxury furniture and built a strong brand internationally by developing a network of distributors and partners in 42 countries. Early 2007 she decided to return to her first career and joined Galilei in order to offer candidates her recruitment and entrepreneur expertise. She is trilingual French, Dutch and English and speaks also German and Italian.
Patricia Mayérus is a Consultant with Galilei. Patricia Mayérus has extensive experience in human resources, first within a corporate environment (Pfizer) and then in the consultancy world (CBPA, acquired by SHL Group; Claessens, merged with the Right Management Consultants group). Her major fields of expertise are: career management and transition: outplacement, inplacement, individual coaching; training and development; recruitment, selection, competency surveys, assessment & development centres; large use of psychodiagnostic tools with certifications. Furthermore she is a Professor at the ‘Licence spéciale en Management des Ressources Humaines’ (ICHEC) and a valued guest speaker at UCL and Henac… Patricia Mayérus holds a Masters degree in Occupational and Social Psychology complemented with a Teaching Certificate. She is also a certified coach. She is fluent in French, Dutch and English.
Georges Michel is a consultant with Galilei having extensive hands-on international experience in Europe, Middle East and Africa while providing advice and support in all areas of personnel management and organizational transformation. He started his consultancy activities after a long career with different multinational corporations including Procter & Gamble, British American Tobacco, Bombardier and Rockwell Automation. Georges holds a degree in Business Administration (Université Catholique de Louvain) and completed his academic background with a programme in Industrial Relations (Université Libre de Bruxelles). He speaks French, Dutch and English.
Ann Moons is consultant at Galilei. In 1995 she graduated as bachelor in Marketing and worked in a commercial function for a few years. Since 1998 she has been working at Randstad, where she was in charge of recruiting employees for various companies until 2006. From 2007 she has been part of Randstad Recruitment & Selection, where she was mainly in charge of the assessments and execution of recruitment tasks. Since late 2008 she has been part of the Galilei team and assists workers and employees both in groups and individually.
Brigitte Mortier is consultant at Galilei. She started her career as recruiter of various job seekers, i.e. employees, young managers, workers and technical staff at Randstad. She then promoted to office assistant where organising various regional activities and training and coaching new colleagues was central. Since 2009 she has been active as outplacement consultant in collective programmes for workers. Brigitte has 2 graduate certificates, i.e. marketing and communication management. In addition she completed various trainings both inside and outside the company, including commercial training, social legislation, personal coaching, time management etc. Besides Dutch, she is also fluent in French, English and has basic knowledge of German.
Jean-Philippe Mulders is a Manager with Galilei based in Woluwe. After 5 years in Switzerland as chief-physiotherapist in a large hospital, he returned to Belgium choosing for a commercial career, specializing mainly in outsourcing sales teams. These various roles gave him the opportunity to work in different sectors such as office furniture, call centers and sales teams management. He joined the Randstad Group in 2004 as Manager of the Brussels Region at the Randstad Recruitment & Services division and became very familiar with Assessments Centers & Competency Evaluations. The guideline of his career has always been “Human capital” with a special interest in people management and human resources management. As a Manager, his areas of expertise are: coaching of candidates, team management and development of career transition activities. Jean-Philippe has a degree in physical education & biology, a degree in physiotherapy (UCL) and a degree in commercial and marketing studies (ICHEC). He is presently taking a HRM degree at Fucam. He speaks fluent French, Dutch and English.
Jo Mussely is Industrial Engineer and Master in Industrial Management and started his career at the Société Gérérale/Generale Maatschappij in the computer service branch. After 15 years he switched to retail business as Logistics and Technical Manager. In 1998 he gave a new direction to his career and realised a few crisis assignments for the Toyota Belgium group. Since 2002 he has been Human Resources Director in the Toyota group. In 2009 he decided to give a new direction to his career and start assisting and coaching people for re-orientation of their career or the search for a new job. Jo has broad experience in various sectors at middle and top management level and also has experienced lots of re-organisations, as involved, negotiator, and executor. Coaching people, both professionally and privately, is what he has been doing for many years. His challenge is to help candidates in outplacement to define their objective, to stay focused and to stimulate them to continue this search with the required sense of reality.
Marc Perneel is a Consultant with Galilei. After obtaining his degree as psychotherapist he ran his own practice for 14 years. He then decided to join corporate life and started as a recruiter and trainer moving on towards crisis management. Having enjoyed a fruitful sabbatical he steered his career towards coaching people during their career transition at Galilei combining this with recruitment of senior profiles for Luxemburg and career coaching at Bethsaïd consulting.
Véréna Pitz is a Consultant with Galilei. After obtaining her masters in applied economics from UCL/IAG she joined Deloitte Haskins & Sells as an auditor but moved on after 3 years to become a recruitment consultant with Robert Half International (formerly known as Fontaine, Archer & Vandevoorde). During her 15 years as Senior Consultant she recruited many financial, legal and banking professionals at various levels for local and multinational companies in Belgium. She then decided to become a Finance Manager in a SME but soon realized that her real interest lies in people ; at that moment she joined Randstad Belgium and worked as HR Business Partner in the banking world (Fortis) and the retail sector (Delhaize). Early 2009 she came on board with Galilei. She is bilingual French-Dutch and has a practical knowledge of English.
Marjorie Prévost is a Consultant with Galilei. She has been part of the Randstad Belgium Group since 15 years and started her career as an temping consultant in Brussels recruiting both technical and blue collar staff. Marianne Requilé is a consultant at Galilei and has been working as an independent psychologist since 1994. She created her own company in 1998 specialising in the organisation of training for job seekers and employees at national level. Supporting and re-orientating job seekers through long trajectories to a new job is an important part thereof. Job interview training and group dynamics have been part of the programme for many years. Since September 2007 she moved to the Galilei outplacement story with full dedication. Besides running her company she draws new energy from assisting people. She graduated in 1993 as work, organisation and community psychologist and currently follows intensive training for enneagram types. She speaks Dutch with good knowledge of French and English.
Inge Rijcken is a Manager with Galilei and based in Kontich. She has been working for more than 20 years at Randstad and made the move towards Randstad Recruitment & Selection and Randstad Outplacement four years ago. She started in the temping division first as a consultant and became a manager in 1992, responsible for both sales and the management of a team of consultants. Until 2004 she worked as account manager and also gave commercial trainings & field coaching sessions. Working at Randstad Recruitment & Selection she became a specialist in assessment techniques and competence surveys. In her current role Inge focuses on the different concepts of career management & outplacement in the Antwerp labour market. She studied Communication Sciences at the Brussels University and speaks Dutch, French and English.
Sonia Rucquoy is a Manager with Galilei and is responsible for the branch in the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg. After her degree in translation and economics she joined the academic world first in Belgium and Spain and then finally in Vietnam where she also ran some development projects. She has been with Randstad for approximately 10 years where she held various jobs in training, project management, individual coaching and outplacement. She is French mothertongue and speaks fluent English, Spanish and Italian fluently, she has a passive knowledge of Dutch.
Mien Smeyers is Consultant at Galilei. Besides her training as social worker, she also completed additional formations in sales, employment market, HR items. Since January 2009 she works as a consultant at Galilei where she is in charge of sales and delivery, individually and groups. She joined Randstad Belgium NV in 1990, the first year as consultant and since 1991 as a manager: sales and people management as manager RS Mol, RS Turnhout, RS Mol, RS Geel and the last 3 years RS Mol and Geel together. She has 19 years experience in HR and has a broad knowledge of the employment market in the Kempen region.
Alick Sytor is a Consultant with Galilei. Alyck Sytor started his career as a Financial Controller (Régie Nationale des Usines Renault, Wang Europe). He then enjoyed a long and successful career as International Sales Manager within large corporations (Digital, Siemens, Intel) selling ICT services and solutions. Since many years, he has taken various responsibilities with Initiatives for Business, which is an international body strengthening the motivation of business ethics in globalization and supporting care in cultural and organizational changes in business life. A tireless globetrotter, he follows with conviction and hope all efforts of mediation and reconciliation in the world: South-Africa, Ireland, Middle East, former-Yugoslavia… Alick Sytor studied Economics and specialized in Business Administration. He is fluent in French, Dutch and English.
Marleen Van Belle is a Consultant with Galilei and passionate about coaching people through personal and/or professional changes. After 7 years experience in the clinical field, she got to know the business world as a consultant with a recruitment agency. In 1990, outplacement gave her the opportunity to merge both aspects of her experience and to coach individuals again. She also took a course in HRM. Besides the coaching of managers and professionals, she developed and delivered (pre) retirement programs. She assisted several organizations with the coaching of human aspects during change implementation processes (mergers, reorganizations, etc). The approach of individual or organizational stress is one of her more recent areas of expertise. Self-development and discovering life, people and cultures of the world are very important driving forces in life. Marleen Van Belle holds a degree in Psychology (UCL) and is fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
Katrin Van de Water is a consultant at Galilei. She is Master in Applied Economic Sciences and followed additional courses in Relation and Communication sciences, NLP, Voice Dialogue, Personal Branding. She started her career in teaching, after consciously choosing for business life after 3 years. For 3 years she worked as a consultant at Randstad in the Management Resources department. She then became advisor for recruitment & selection at Adecco. In 2006 she created her own business Passion for Work where she specialised in career and outplacement assistance, burn-out coaching and personal branding.
Chris Van den Bergh has been working as a consultant for Galilei since 2007. She has more than 15 years experience as a coach in personal development. She assists workers and employees from various re-organisations both in group and individually with high drive and passion. Chris started her career in the food sector and moved to petrochemicals. There she was closely involved in the re-organisation of Elf to Total. As a biochemistry graduate Chris followed further training courses in psychology, coaching, communication and burn-out therapy. She is bilingual Dutch-English.
Kathleen van der Hooft is a Consultant with Galilei. She started her career as a teacher after obtaining a masters in criminology and moral sciences at the VUB Brussels. Later on she moved to special needs youth programs and also worked for an international student exchange organisation. She became gradually politically involved and finally performed several mandates on a local, provincial and federal level. Kathleen has thus a solid experience of the public sector. Her outplacement experience developed at Claessens and after a political stint in between she joined Galilei in 2006 where she coaches both individuals and groups. She speaks Dutch, French and English.
Marie-Noëlle van Hoorebeke is a Consultant with Galilei. She studied Law and Business Management and started her career as Relationship Manager with the Deutsche Bank. During 12 years she honed her banking, commercial and financial skills. She subsequently took a strong interest in personal development and career management and decided five years ago to start with coaching of individuals who are going through a career transition. Marie-Noëlle is also commercially involved with Galilei. She is bilingual French Dutch and speaks good English.
Pascale Van houte is a consultant at Galilei based in Strombeek-Bever. Having graduated as a qualified nurse she decided to start her career in the medical temping sector. She has been with Randstad for over 10 years and joined Interlabor in Anderlecht as temping consultant recruiting administrative and technical staff. One and a half year later she became manager of 2 Brussels-based branches. She successfully ran both offices and the team of 10 consultants due to her pragmatic and quality-oriented approach. From end 2006 till July 2010, she was responsible for the Strombeek Bever branch where she was the account manager for the companies based in Brussels and Flemish Brabant. She has a sound experience with restructuring cases and outplacement projects for large groups. Pascale is bilingual Dutch French and has a good knowledge of English.
Els Van Landeghem is consultant at Galilei. In 1999 she graduated as master in Criminology. Since 1999 she works at Randstad, where she was in charge of recruitment and selection of employees and technical staff for various companies. This work experience has enabled Els to expand various contacts with companies in the Antwerp port area, Sint-Niklaas, Lokeren and Dendermonde. In addition she has contributed to a number of projects relating to various job channels. Since end 2009 she is part of the Galilei team and assists workers and employees both in groups and individually.
Nils Van Uffelen started after his education as economist his career in the ICT world in various management functions. After 16 years he swapped bits and bites for the HR world: for 5 years he managed a medium sized interim, recruitment and selection agency where he was also heavily involved in the career development of his own employees. Talent development and training were an important element of his policy. Since December 2007 he has been working for Galilei and is specialised in in- and outplacement of employees, management and direction profiles This is where he finds the challenge of making candidates discover and use their talents. He has a broad knowledge of the Belgian employment market and business world. Nils assists and coaches in Dutch, French and English.
Annelore Vanderginst is consultant at Galilei. Since June 2008 she has been active as an outplacement consultant both in individual and collective programmes. Previously she worked as a trainer and coach in the sales sector where she assisted individuals and teams in customer orientation, personal growth and group dynamics. This enabled her to build a long experience in assisting, training and coaching outside Randstad. This broad experience in assisting and leading of people and groups has led her to Randstad. Besides a certified coach, she also is a master in NLP, and family and organisation counsellor.
Isabelle Vanlerberghe is consultant at Galilei. She has been working for the Randstad group since June 1997. In time she combined her job as a recruiter for workers, employees, higher employees and technicians with maintaining contacts with local schools and authorities. From that perspective she taught job interview techniques to school leavers. Since November 2008 she has been active as outplacement consultant in both collective and individual programmes for workers and employees. She completed her diploma in Secretariat-Languages (English-Spanish) with a bachelor education in Family sciences at HUB-EHSAL Brussels, a course in which psycho-social support is central, among others.
Elsje Vanstechelman is a Consultant with Galilei. She started her career as a recruiter forf both office staff and young professionals. At a later stage she combined this job with a number of commercial activities. A few years later she started in the internal and external training programs of the Randstad Group (internal: training and coaching of new starters of the Randstad Belgium Group - external: as a trainer at schools, trade unions, governmental unemployment agency and other social institutions.) From 2005 onwards she has been directing her efforts towards career counselling, job coaching and outplacement, for both individual and group programs. She also serves as a project leader for some of the major restructuring and/or bankruptcy cases. Elsje holds a Masters degree in Translation (English-Spanish) and has followed a number of additional training courses such as 'train-the-trainer', 'coach-the-coach', social law, commercial trainings, etc. She is fluent in Dutch, English, French and Spanish.
Véronique Wertz is a consultant with Galilei. She graduated in Psychology at the University of Louvain (UCL - Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) and obtained the post-graduate degree in Neuro-Psychology from the same university. She founded her own selection and recruitment company which is still operational today, specialised in competency assessment and evaluation of personnel. Véronique collaborated with Brann KI (Brussels, Belgium). She set up, trained and supervised a team of consultants, who specialised in the recruitment and training of field marketing personnel. In 2000 Véronique founded an editing, distribution and consulting company specialising in a range of tools and instruments for psychological testing and evaluation of personnel. During the last 15 years, she developed a method of professional and personal skills set and behavioural scoreboard. She speaks French, Dutch and English.
Roger Wippermann is a Consultant with Galilei. He graduated as a Commercial Engineer from the Polytechnique Fédérale in Zurich and obtained an MBA at Insead and Harvard Business School. He built his career with the international consultancy group Arthur D. Little where he was responsible for the Belgian, Swiss and Portuguese branch and at the same time held the post of global industry practice leader engineering & mechanics. Furthermore, he was President of the “Wisemen Committee” and managed the recruitment and annual appraisal process for the 200 partners within the group. He was Executive Director at Allied Signal Europe (now Honeywell) for 5 years with head offices in Brussels and Paris. Today President of Excel Contact, a strategy and organization consultancy and is member of various boards of managements in Belgium and abroad. He is an outplacement consultant with Galilei since 2002.
